Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs Release Date: July 1, 2009
“Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” to be fully produced in 3-D, is the latest installment to the hit “Ice Age” franchise, which has grossed more than $1.2 billion around the world. “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” will be directed by Oscar-nominated Carlos Saldanha, who directed “Ice Age: The Meltdown” and co-directed “Ice Age.” The film is being produced by Academy Award-winning Blue Sky Studios, the creative force behind all the “Ice Age” films and “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who.”
Dave Ming Chang (Eddie Murphy), newly arrived in New York City, may be the ultimate fish out of water. There’s something about him that’s not quite right – for starters, he seems remarkably out of place and uncomfortable in his own body. And for good reason: “Dave” is not a man at all, but a ship made in the image of its miniature-sized captain. It’s Eddie Murphy in Eddie Murphy in “Meet Dave.”
