Bigger, Stronger, Faster
Release Date: May 30, 2008
Bigger, Stronger, Faster

In America, we define ourselves in the superlative: we are the biggest, strongest, fastest country in the world. We reward speed, size and above all else: winning - at sport, at business and at war. Metaphorically we are a nation on steroids. Is it any wonder that so many of our heroes are on performance enhancing drugs? From the producers of Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 comes a new film that unflinchingly explores our win-at-all-cost culture through the lens of a personal journey. Blending comedy and pathos, BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER* is a collision of pop culture, animated sequences and first-person narrative, with a diverse cast including US Congressmen, professional athletes, medical experts and everyday gym rats. At its heart, this is the story of director Christopher Bell and his two brothers, who grew up idolizing muscular giants like Hulk Hogan, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and who went on to become members of the steroid-subculture in an effort to realize their American dream. When you discover that your heroes have all broken the rules, do you follow the rules, or do you follow your heroes?

Surfer is like a Brother to me. To the best of my knowledge I have broken every rule for Documentary Film Making. I hope!
(Director SUICIDE SURFER)
Welcome to Surfer’s World. The good the bad and the ugly. The true story of an Original OC California Local. Please take a break and hang on tight. Try some Real Reality. Take a little time to get to know him, you won’t be sorry. Surfer reported being molested by his Priest to the Catholic Church a long time ago. They said his family would be excommunicated and that he would go to Hell if he spoke out or sought legal help. So he kept his mouth shut. That was the Policy of the Catholic Church set in place by Cardinal Alfred Ottaviani in 1962. This is Surfer’s life. He has a Right to have it told. You may see a mentally mangled man in this film, but remember he was an innocent child. Let’s think about that. What would it be like to be confused and violated for years by a Priest your family trusted, and respected? By 6th grade he was a full blown Alcoholic. Acting out wild behavior, bringing the wrath of his dad down upon him. Isolated, damaged and deformed. Preyed upon again by booze and drugs. Lost in a world of fear and isolation. So then it’s like… Oh check out Surfer he’s a Burnout! ha… ha… ha… He happens to be a Human Being and who walked alone in his own personal Hell. Then one day he saw the Priest that molested him on TV. He stood up. He told the truth. They paid him off. Nice huh? Sorry that isn’t how it works in Reality. His life just spun out of control even more. As I edit the video and audio files of him I am constantly blown away by what he had to say.

Inspired by true events, THE CHILDREN OF HUANG SHI is a portrayal both sweeping and intimate of people who, thrown into an unexpected and desperate situation, discover their capacity for love and responsibility. It tells how a young Englishman, George Hogg (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) came to lead sixty orphaned boys on an extraordinary journey of almost a thousand perilous miles across the snow-bound Liu Pan Shan mountains to safety on the edge of the Mongolian desert. And of how, in doing so, he came to understand the true meaning of courage. During his journey, Hogg learns to rely on the support of Chen (Chow Yun Fat), the leader of a Chinese partisan group who becomes his closest friend. He soon finds himself falling in love with Lee (Radha Mitchell), a recklessly brave Australian adventurer whom war has turned into an unsentimental nurse on horseback. Along the way Hogg befriends Madame Wang (Michelle Yeoh), an aristocratic survivor who has also been displaced by war, who helps the young Englishman, his friends and their sixty war orphans make their way across awesome (and rarely filmed) mountain and desert regions to a place of safety near the western end of the Great Wall of China. Aamir
Release Date : May 16, 2008
Aamir, the name literally means leader and our protagonist (Rajeev Khandelwal) becomes a follower not because of faith, not out of zeal but out of ‘fear’. Geographically Aamir’s maze is set in the Muslim dominated, but poor, areas of Bombay. In its lanes and by lanes, cheap restaurants and lodges, amongst nameless pimps and whores, run-down buildings and over-crowded markets, filth and squalor, Aamir is supposed to understand the life he has lived, the ‘choices’ he has made, his dreams, his loves and his immediate fears.

Through the course of one day lost in the streets of Mumbai the question remains that do you choose your destiny, or does destiny choose you, and whether Aamir chooses to be a follower or become a leader.
